I was out walking out by red rock national park last night 10/23 when i just so happened to look out towards the eastern direction.Up in the sky there was this formation of lights in a boomerang shape four of them were red blinking there appeared to be one in the middle that was what looked like a smaller cluster of yellowish lights in a triangle shape .When i first saw them they were moving in a eastern direction towards henderson,nv then the boomerang formation changed direction toward south east as it did the formation of the objects flying went from a boomerang shape to what looked like a backwards "j" shape .As it was moving south east .The 3 lights to the left started slowly blinking in and out as they were moving .Then the object went from a j shape and the objects came together .Thats when i knew it wasn't man made crafts they came together in a triangle shape almost blending into one another and then they separated the first three to break off to the left heading back up into a north east direction before turning heading east while the others followed behind .The lead 3 red ball blinking objects were blinking slowly in and out .The other two were just shining solid red objects no flashing and blinking .These five objects headed east and from where i was .They started to descend down in a swirling motion one behind the other .I observed this from a good distance away ,as i was in red rock basin and could see only the sky over las vegas area ..So i did not see where they descended down to there were other planes in the sky but not near these objects .The space around them was clear from any other air crafts in the area these were not planes the way they moved they were to slow to be moving in the formations they were moving definitely unidentified objects .I was unable to take clear enough photos of the objects from my distance as i just had a camera phone
