the time was 6:20 the sun was down bright moon rising in the east. jon nickoles was having a smoke break on the deck in my backyard. he then yelled for us to come see i immediately went outside looked up and could see lights traveling in a straight line like flickering at first. my first thought was there's santa claus and his reindeer if i ever wanted proof. i yelled for nate hill to come outside immediately. he did and cynthia follwed. nate said the same thing its santa claus at that time it seemed to turn slightly to the south and the moon seemed to reflect off of it and it did a shimmer. the shimmer seemed to disrupt a maybe cloaking system have you and you could see the size of the vessel. we later estimated the craft to be at least a 1000 feet in length and several stories high. i'd say the cigar shape would be closest match reminded me of a submarine hull as it slowly changed direction. no one said a word nor could we hear anything at all. i had to ask the party if they were seeing what my eyes were seeing. they concurred we then yelled for dakota to come see at this time it was headed due south. i'm one mile away from lee bird field there were no planes in the air. i'm a seeing is believing kind of guy but all questions i had on that subject have been answered. when you think of ufos you think in terms of a smaller craft not the mother ship.
