Monday morning, january, 13th, at roughly 6:15 am, i was sitting on our porch having coffee (riverview, fl). it was still rather dark outside, when out of nowhere, a bright fluorescent white ball of light flew swiftly and silently past me, towards the apartment's lake, which wraps around the property a bit. the ball had no tail, such as would a fireball, which i have seen. from where i was sitting, it looked to be the size of a cantaloupe and flew about 15-20 feet above the ground. i stood up to look in the direction it flew, but it was nowhere to be seen. there are many trees, so for this to have made its way past our building, it would have had to go around the trees. the weather was cool, no rain, so it wasn't ball lightening. 15 minutes later, way up in the sky, heading south, was a shooting star, or meteor. in 2013 medina, ohio, a fireball passed over my car and it was very large and fiery orange, with a tail. i don't know what a meteor looks like when it gets really close to earth and dies out, but do wonder if this was the case. just an fyi, but i will be moving on january 27th, so the current home phone number will be disabled. you ask about elevation degrees, i don't know. all i can say is this orb flew about 15 feet away from where i was sitting and was roughly 15 to 20 feet from the ground. hope this helps.
