Two observation 1) very bright object (almost looking at a head light) was at an azim. 240 degree and 20 degree above the horiz. (approx.). went to check the next day to see if it was still there (if it was mars). no it was not and mars was at least 50 degree above the horizon. after five minute the bright light disappear. 2) at the same time (as above) were numerous lighter intensity stars that seem parallel to the bright light. these stars occurred as a straight line and at a regular interval (the length of my hand), i observed them from above my head to the tree horizon at a 240 azim.. i did not look at the opposite direction (was to fascinated what was in front of me). after five minute they all disappear. observation 3) while i'm at it, this observation occurred in the 1980's. (i think it was spring and occurred around 8:30pm) look like a star, moved approx. 5 to time the speed of a jet. occurred from one horizon to the next. during that interval that object made two 90 degree turn. it was moving from north to south, with the 90 occurring east west.
