On the 15th july 2018 my friend and i were travelling and we were currently in marseille, france. the horns and beeping in the background was due to france just winning the works cup. we had gone up to our apartment on the top floor and were shocked to see this glowing orb in the sky. this orb did not move at all for hours, unfortunately after about three hours we had things to do and by the time the night came it had vanished. i took a video of this. i cannot think of any reasonable explanation for this. it was pure sunshine outside there were no there stars in the sky and there was no movement from it. i just thought i would share my experience. i also am unaware of what the elevation of the object was.
