I was outside looking up at the stars while i smoked a cigarette. i then saw what i initially thought was a shooting star. a moment later i noticed another 'shooting star'. their trajectories were about 30-deg apart and toward the same point. i remember thinking, 'wow i'm about to see these shooting stars crash into each other!' then at the very last second they bounced away from each other at complete 90-deg angles and then quickly returned traveling off in the same general direction of their original path. it was like something you might see at an air show, but the speed at which they made such a sudden and drastic change of direction seemed impossible, not to mention the high altitude at which they seemed to be flying. it really couldn't have been human. the movements were so fast, precise, and synchronized it really blew me away.
