I was fishing off of setting pole dam between tupper lake and piercefield, ny in the adirondack park around 1:30am. All of a sudden the water around me seemed to be lit up some how. I looked around me to find the source of light figuring maybe a vehicle coming into the parking lot or a light from a boat. Nothing. That's when i looked up, as soon as I did I saw 5 lights above me, a little bit higher than the trees. Roughly. I could see the faint outline of a craft in the darkness behind the lights. They were there only a second or so then in the blink of an eye it seemed to shoot into the sky and was gone. Still the scariest moment of my life.
