saucer shaped object with point seen above Darvel at time of Halle BopThe object was a dark, saucer shaped object with a small point at the top. I have researched the shape and it is much like the Rouen, France sighting in 1957. It appeared one day before the sighting of the Halle Bop comet. Many people thought the sighting was the comet, however it hovered over the town for the full day, and was too far west to be the comet (from Darvel) and too far east (from close town Newmilns).
