Malaga, Spain - red/blue luminous objects with golden wake flying horizontaly in a groupI was on vacation in southern Spain staying at a rented Villa on a hiltop in Mijas, near Malaga. Behind the property there is only scrubland leading up to the mountain range.At about 10.30 on a clear night apart from some patchy cloud I was in the backyard looking at the stars, my family were inside watching TV. I witnessed six or seven large bright lights that appeared to be flying in formation at about 5 thousand feet up. They were flying horizontaly. The "head" of each object was round with a blue and red luminous colouring. Their "tail" was remarkable and brilliantly gold coloured like a beautiful sunset. There was no noise. They headed west to east and "blinked" out simultaneously over the mountains.I have seen many firework displays and shooting stars but these could not be mistaken for either.I am not sure what they were. At the time I even considered that they were missiles. If someone could convince me that a meteor shower could fly horizontaly and appear so large and brilliant I might consider that an explanation but I am open minded and feel privilleged to have seen them.
