Individually technologically explainable, except speed and collectively improbableOn Friday the 17th of January, 2014, at approximately 21.15 hours I was sat on the step at the front door of my home in Muscat, the Sultanate of Oman and witnessed two unidentified flying objects to the north-west over an area known locally as Seeb. The first object had a line of seven bright greenish-white lights. The object hovered for a moment before descending vertically, it then elevated vertically before moving south-west at extraordinary high speed. A few seconds later a second object was clearly visible in the same location with a line of seven bright lights, this time reddish-white in colour. This object hovered maintaining its altitude for a few moments before moving north at extraordinary high speed. My impressions were that the two objects had emerged from a larger airborne vehicle, that was not illuminated and not visible. As the lights of both objects were equally spaced and of the same intensity of brightness, I concluded that they were on a level surface not round. If the lights had been on anything other than a level surface the lights would not have appeared equally spaced and not of the same intensity of brightness as they would have been angled in different directions. The speed at which the two objects moved did not give the impression of acceleration, but that they both moved from stationary to terminal velocity instantaneously. The extraordinary high speed at which the objects moved from stationary to terminal velocity, was such that it is improbable that a life form could withstand the exceptional gravitational forces exerted. I therefore concluded that the objects were remotely controlled. Finally it was a quiet evening and whilst I live in close proximity to Muscat International airport there was no sound emitted from the two objects and no other aircraft or helicopters in the vicinity at that time. The practice of using larger airborne vehicles to transport smaller airborne vehicles has been in use for decades by NASA in moving space shuttles between landing and launch sites. The technology for an airborne object to descend and elevate vertically has existed since the inception of helicopters, likewise the technology for fixed wing aircraft, such as the Harrier vertical take-off and landing has also existed for decades. The technology to control an airborne object remotely has existed for decades in the form of remote controlled model aircraft. More recently pilotless drones operating in Pakistan, Afghanistan and the Yemen, but controlled from a location in the United States of America, illustrates how technology has advanced. The speed and manoeuvrability of modern fighter jets illustrates that material and airframe design technology exists that will withstand extreme gravitational forces without compromising the structural integrity or functionality of the aircraft. Individually all of the phenomena witnessed are explainable, except for the extraordinary high speed at which they moved from rest, without appearing to accelerate and without emitting any sound. I am not aware of any method of propulsion that will propel a stationary airborne object to terminal velocity, instantaneously and more significantly, silently.
