Location: LaVergne TennesseeRoad: Burkett RoadI was driving home from work, it was approximately 740-745 pm CST. I saw a low set of extremely bright lights. I initially thought it was a very low flying plane. But as I got closer to it, I saw that was not moving like a plane, but was hovering over a house about 30 feet from the road and 10 or 20 feet above the house. The object didn't move or was moving very slowly. I know that others on the road had to see the same thing I saw because they was slowing down as well. The object appeared to be triangular in shape. The lights on the outer most points was extremely bright white light. I've not seen any planes that have landing lights on that come close to how bright they are. Under side of the object had 3 triangular housing, with orb shaped lights inside. These was not the same brightness as the ones on the tips of the object. The coloring was an off white color. The object made no audible sounds, so I know that if this was a low flying plane I would have heard the engines. My initial reaction was, am I really seeing this thing in the sky. Feels very surreal when you see something that you can not identify as a plane, helicopter, or other known vehicle. I'm a strong believer in getting information out, and that is why I'm here. Hopefully there will be others who report the same thing I saw. I lost sight as I continued driving down the road, I turned around at the next road. By the time I got back to the house the object was gone. Wish I could have gotten pictures or video, this thing was amazing.
