I was watching the seattle mariners vs houston astros last night. the game was being played in houston. i live n montana. at the top of the 6th inning.I really settled in my chair and began to watch in earnest. during nelson cruz's at bat ...In fact the pitch count was 78 by the houston pitcher. i saw an orb seem to roll out on to the field from between the catchers legs and roll towards the pitcher. as it crossed the pitchers mound i could clearly see the orb was in the air! as it crossed the mound it turned a little. not much wind last night in houston. the players did not seem to notice it. i had a dvr hooked up to my tv but i was not recording the game. however the dvr allowed me to replay the last few minutes of what had just been played so i did over and over. probably watched the orb 25 times. at 8 o'clock i was not allowed by my dvr to go back as far as the orb was. major league baseball must have the tape. if not root sports was the channel i was watching. if one is to look at the tape of the game just go to the 6th inning. then go to where the header says the pitch count is 78. the orb came out between the 78th and 79th pitch. never seen anything like this before! an orb on national tv! i was excited . i messaged root sports on their facebook page but i have not heard back from them.
