I was on the porch smoking a cigar and just gazing at the night sky. i noticed a bright object that was still but not pulsing or twinkling like a normal star and not really far enough to be a planet. about 20 seconds after noticing it on the corner of my eye it began to hover and move slowly across the city making its way out of the desert towards the mountains behind bogus basin to the north east. at that time i then yelled for my girlfriend to wake up and come outside and she did. we both witnessed the object now looking off to the north east mountains the whole time noticing that the object made no sound , everything was so quiet i might add that even the usually crowded freeway behind my house had absolutely no cars so it was especially quiet. same with the airport and sky. their was no planes as far as the eye could see just us three. me my girlfriend and the object.. and after it went behind the mountains we lost sight of it. the whole ordeal lasted about 7 minutes
