While returning from grocery store, me, wife n kids moving north along williams ave in lehigh acres, just crossing w th st. wife and i both saw orb shape appear at about 70deg and alt about 5000' directly ahead. sighting lasting about 2-3 sec. sudden appearance of orb descending. first thought, plane, but too fast yet slower than meteor, then blinked out before reaching horizon. too big, too slow to be meteor. est impact 50 mi off sanabel island. time about 20:31. at nearly 70 years old, and having traveled many places, owning home in costa rica, 4-6 trips to fiji islands, and spending much time star gazing, i have seen many things, but none like this. it was too slow, and too big, like if you combined the 2 landing lights of a 747 at about 5000'. but single light had a blue-green tint as it followed a straight line angle down and to the west north edt of us, blinking out as it descended.
