In hot tub with wife. i faced south, she faced north. after 1/2 hour, she got out to go shower. as she entered the door, i caught motion above the roof line, heading east to west. 2 translucent objects moving at a steady speed. i stopped her, said, "weird, i just saw something". while i was explaining it, three more objects went past in the same area of sky. i said "come over here, maybe you'll see some." (i've seen similar objects overhead before) she stood next to me, outside the hot tub. after about 30 seconds a few more went over in same direction. i told her " get back in the hot tub, i think we'll see more." she did. over the next hour and a half, we watched as waves of objects went past in formation. i say thousands of them (i am an engineer), my wife says definitely hundreds. some were chevron-shaped, some were tube or cigar shaped. every once in a while, a dumbbell-shaped one would corkscrew along the same path, east to west. all of these objects were silent, appeared to be fairly high in the sky and also appeared to be solid at times and shimmery/translucent at others. the formations they flew in were definitely organized, the speed was consistent and the direction was always east to west. the first few i saw were at about 45 degrees above the horizon. the majority of them observed were actually higher overhead 90 degrees). after about an hour and a half, the numbers dwindled and then at about 1 hr 45 min, they disappeared completely, the few remaining in the sky faded out- similar to the first ones i saw fading in- and then disappeared completely.
