Military aircraft??? driving home to bad axe on m-53 just south of m-46 observed unusually large, unusually colored lights in the sky. they were yellowish-orange and very bright lights that attracted my attention. they were flying in a mostly east-to-west direction.First there were two objects/craft flying next to each other. then lights out. when the lights reappeared, one of the craft was significantly further west than the other. the really strange thing was the lights continued to go out. each time they reappeared, there would be another craft flying next to the more easterly craft. this happened at least three times. first i saw two objects. then i saw three. lastly, i saw four objects. the lights on each plane or craft or whatever, went out simultaneously. initially, my husband didn't witness anything and had to pull over maybe three times before he actually witness the lights before they went out all together and disappeared. immediately after the lights went out, i did notice two airplanes flying in the same direction but at a much, much higher altitude. i know our specific area has recently become part of flight training, which will/does include night flights. but we were still a half-hour south of bad axe. i've never seen anything like this before.
