Family member was outside getting the dog, and noticed what they thought was a satellite moving overhead. they then noticed another following it in the same direction, at the same speed. and then several more, a moment later. family member called me and another member outside to see. we stood there and watched them arrive one after the other from the sw, traveling to the ne, in a straight line. they appeared to be all evenly spaced. all moving the same speed, in a single file line. we estimated there were between 20-25 in all, at one point. the whole line stretched the visible horizon, passing almost directly overhead. they looked identical to stars or satellites. no blinking lights. at one point i saw one flare up, then disappear from view. after maybe 5 or 10 seconds it reappeared, in it's place in line. another witness saw this happen a second time. family member viewed them through binoculars for maybe the last 20 seconds. he said they still appeared star-like, and couldn't see any additional lights or features. we all noted that if they were planes, they were very high up. and if they were very high up, then relative to passenger aircraft, or others we see every night, they were traveling very fast. we watched until we no longer saw them. we entered the house just under 10 minutes later. there were not any other aircraft in the sky that i saw.
