I woke up at about 4:45 am and went outside for a cigarrette. my porch looks eastward toward the morning sky. i noticed a trail of very bright stars in a line, some on a parallel line dropping from about 35â° toward the eastern horizon. they were very bright, a little brighter than the starlight and trailed slowly north as they dropped in a line, probably 30 or 40 of them, maybe more because i ran inside the house for my camera and i woke up my 14 year old daughter to see them as well. the came into view (seemingly popping through the atmosphere) at about 35â° then headed slightly north and east toward horizon. i thought they were stars thrn noticed they were moving, not at a rapid pace. one light probably took about 20 seconds to reach the horizon. by the time my daughter came out there were only a few of them left. there was a last one that seemed to take a slightly different path, almost like it was wandering in and out of the flight path the others took. wow! i have never seen anything like this! ive seen lots of shooting stars burn up in the atmosphere and this was not that! my camera was not able to catch the, i tried but i dont think you can see any of them in the video.
