March 6, 2020: libertyville, illinois 7:30pm-8:00pm 3 star-like lights appeared at night in the eastern sky. they appeared to be originating from a point 5 degrees below the planet venus. the three lights were equidistant from each other and all appeared to be moving the same speed. the lights then disappeared one by one in the sky near 'ursa major'. after the third star-like object disappeared, more started to originate and they appeared in succession. i witnessed more than 20 lights total. in 2 cases, a star-like object appeared to have a companion of the same star-like object following within one degree or two degrees trailing. the star-like objects did not deviate from their path. while it began with three, the path or line of objects increased to as many as eight or more in the sky at the same time. after a few minutes the star-like objects began appearing more infrequently. the frequency eventually dissipated to one object moving in the same path until no more were visible.
