I was standing in my back yard dec 4 2018 at 8pm. i was looking at the nieghbors new xmas lights and trying to see where this dog i heard barking was at. i noticed this spot out the side of my vision. this spot in space that was kind of shimmering. you could see stars out and they were visible outside of the 'portal' and you could also see stars through the shimmer. then the stars inside the portal started blurring and getting bigger and the whole portal got brighter and kinda flashed and these sparks(bright) kinda drifted and swirled as they fell from the portal. then they kinda streaked into the very upper atmosphere and formed a formation of nine lights(was a muted glow. kinda like the ant races screen on t.V. after air hours) in a double row offset v formation and flew southeast fast and no sound at all. wish i had a camera. i'm 50 years old and this was the craziest thing i have ever seen.
