Around 8:30 pm, my son and i were talking outside when my son looked up and said he saw "burning rocks" in the sky. i thought he was talking about meteors until he said he saw them again. i turned to see what he was talking about and saw 2lights next to each other. as the one light on the right went out, another light appeared to the left of the light that was still on. this 3rd light was the same distance from the light still on as was the light that just disappeared. then again, the light farthest right of the two disappeared and another one appeared to the left of the remaining light. this time, the distance between the two lights was not as much, giving the appearance that the object these lights must be attached to was circular in shape. after the lights went "around" to the backside, they did not immediately come on again. this process happened several times, usually several minutes apart, and each time the "object" seemed to be stationary in the sky, but it was always in a slightly different position. most of the appearances had the "object" horizontal, with the exception of just once when it appeared to be at a 45 degree angle as the lights slowly flashed on and off sequentially. at one point during the event, the sequence of lights began flashing from left to right instead of right to left as they had started out doing. the first position we saw the lights in was to the northwest from roughly the north side of the white tank mountains (between north buckeye and whittman). the last position i saw the lights they appeared to be moving southwest, directly west of the northern edge of the white tank mountains.
