I live in Westville,IN. Last night, July 2nd, I was sitting outside to try to catch some free fireworks in my subdivision. I stepped out of my porch area to view the clear night sky. On the opposite end of my street, where no fireworks, parties, or sound were coming from, I saw 4 orbs of lights swarming in the sky. They stayed the same shape, but some seemed closer and some seemed farther. I got my phone camera ready right away, as I was sure I was seeing something strange in the sky but my camera would not pick up the light of the orbs in the sky so I continued to stand there and watch for as long as I could, being a total of 10 plus minutes. The 4 orbs swarmed out from a center point, some flying closer to me and some farther as the "larger" ones were flying closer and that's why they appeared larger and the smaller appeared smaller because they were farther. Just used common sense as I was viewing them so I could tell they were actually all the same size and shape, all moving very fast throughout the sky, and meeting at the center point approximately every 3 seconds. They flew in the repeated swarming pattern, almost like on a flat plane, connecting at the center point over and over repeatedly for 10 minutes. They looked similar to a strobe light, circling in the same pattern, but very high in the sky with no trail of light like a strobe light normally has. And again, there was no party or sound coming from that side of the street/end of the neighborhood. It also looked like if it was a strobe light or lights being projected from the ground, it would have been coming from a field that is outside the subdivision and not from one of the homes nearby in the subdivision. I also doubt a strobe light can be seen that high and move that fast in the sky. The event lasted over 10 minutes. Also, after watching the orbs for the first 5 minutes, I then saw at least 3 to 5 planes come out and fly near where I was seeing these orbs. The planes seemed to fly right past, but not at the same height as the orbs. All the planes came from the same direction, appearing at different times but all within 3 minutes of each other after orbs being in sky for 5 minutes. One or 2 planes flew above the orbs, one flying lower to the ground and under the orbs, and one seemed to fly by the side of them. The way that the events occurred, it appears to me that the planes got in the air as soon as they heard about the sighting or saw the sighting themselves or on some radar. It took them exactly 5 minutes to get up in the air to try to see what was going on it seemed. I'm unsure on what I saw, but I didn't see anyone else standing outside who could also be considered a witness except the individuals at the other end of the street who were farther from the orbs and they were having a party and fireworks at the other end of the street. Also, my internet connection was terrible last night during and after the event, and I also saw the night sky flash brightly multiple times while I was watching the orbs and after they were gone. The flash was not lightning nor thunder but something managed to light up the whole sky for a millisecond a couple of times at the same time the orbs were present. I wish I had a better camera to have it recorded. The best I could do to recreate this event is to make a paper flip book and sketch out how they moved and swarmed in the sky.
