Approx three years ago in November,I was outside my house in S.E. Oklahoma about 3 or 4 in the morning observing the leonid meteor shower. I had seen several in about 45 min. I was looking to the east when I saw a very bright blue/white light that I first thought was " a really good one". While the meteors that I had been seeing lasted no more than 2 or 3 seconds, this object was lasting much longer. I remember having the following thoughts in rapid succession;"wow,that's a really good one". then "that's lasting a long time". At this time I had been observing the object for more than 10 seconds.My next thought was wondering if it would actually impact. Then I remember thinking "That's NOT a meteor". At about the time I had that thought, the object made what appeared to be a 90 degree turn to the South without any apparent change in velocity. I continued to observe the object which did NOT disappear over the horizon but seemed to go up and out at a very high rate of speed. I watched until as the object grew dimmer and finally to faint to see.I have believed in life on other planets and in E.T. U.F.O.s and I think I have finally seen the latter.Because of the stigma attached to such things,I have only told one person about this until today.
