Driving on hwy 93, over the hill as it goes into St Ignatius, I was looking toward the sky - northeasterly - as is my habit, looking at the morning star on my way to work. I noticed the star didn't seem to be in the same region I had observed it the morning before (Oct 28th). The star seemed closer than it should be, yet I thought it was a star. So I was studying the stars a little more intently than usual. Just as I had that thought, the large star swelled to a very large bright orangey/glow - bright enough to make me blink. I was startled, and watched it shrink back to the size of a large morning star size. I watched it's direction of flight as I drove on the highway on the same general path - northeast toward town. It didn't haven't the blinking flight lights like on a plane, it went faster than the planes I see but not so fast as to be unnatural. Then it passed over the Mission Range. It wasn't close enough for details as to it's shape, but it was more oval than round, and it was high in the sky above the valley below. The time was after 7:00AM. I had just checked the time, to see if I had missed the morning news. This happened between 7:06 and 7:20 AM.It was confusing, because the light wasn't painfully bright, but the bright circle filled my windshield and my field of vision. It seemed to be above me, but yet far away. I felt confusion.
