Star gazing in the yard at the time. Amateur telescope viewer and nightly sky watcher.1st noticed the objects incredible silent speed.I instantly thought ufo as I've been able to research all of my previous nightly encounters to date and have been able to dis/prove all of them within a few weeks.I will not pursue any investigation to this as the answer is clear as to what I saw, however you may enlighten me.Large, silent, hazy, white light of oval/elongated shape moving in a straight line from the NNW to the SSE at a very high rate of speed East of Sand Lake Mi. The shape seriously reminded me of the typical "saucer on a string" from the 1960's movies.I adjusted my position away from tree line interference and the object went into a weaving/bobbing pattern in the SE, similar to what someone with a laser can do and at that speed but not distance or size. Again, this is at high speed and a larger light than I've ever seen in the sky. I readjusted my position again to confirm what I was seeing.After 3-4 minutes total, I lost the object to the horizon or possibly clouds.The weather was partly cloudy however the sky was clear in the area where I first noticed the object.I reacted like it was an everyday event as I am surprised it took me this long to see an unexplainable object due to my love of the sky.I reported it to NUFO almost instantly.
