Stepped outside at 1:50 a.m facing northwest and immediately spotted an oblong object above the tree line which had what seemed to be rotating colored lights that changed between white, red, and blue or green. The object darted swiftly from side to side and up and down and was in the sky an elevation of approximately 5,000-10,000 feet, or a 45 degree angle when standing on the ground facing the horizon. A second object appeared at the same elevation and slightly south of the first and both seemed to travel in a West/northwest direction until no longer in sight while continually moving side to side and up and down quickly with no noticeable pattern in the movement. Also below both objects at times were either beams of light facing downward or some sort of long extensions downward from the object. This was an exceptionally clear night with a very bright moon. Both objects seemed to be moving out toward/over Mobile Bay.
