I was talking a walk on the outskirts of chicago, illinois. the sky above me suddenly became brighter. i thought it was just a cloud moving away from the moon so i thought nothing of it. i looked up and saw a silvery, oval shaped object just sat there in the sky. it had bright white lights and some sort of glowing pattern on its surface. it was about the size of a basketball . i wasn't scared because i'd heard of other things like this before but i was very confused. i checked my watch and it had just stopped so i pulled out my cellphone to check the time too. the time had just stopped. it felt like only a few seconds but after the event, the time skipped and 20 minutes had gone by. the u.F.O. had just disappeared.
