At approximately 6.20am i went into my garden and saw an aircraft, drawn to it by its lights whilst going through a cloud. in the background i then noticed a moving star, rather like a satellite travelling in an west to east direction which is not in itself unusual as we have little light pollution and can often see one go by. however after watching it for a while i noticed another one travelling in the same direction behind it. now watching closly i observed approximately 30 or 40 of these objects all travelling at the same speed, same distance apart, same trajectory and they took approximately 5 minutes to go by. at very high level, in a perfectly straight line. i watch the sky a great deal at night and have never witnessed anything like this. gutted that my phone would not pick up a single thing as it was just too dark and the objects were too high.
