Was outside smoking a cigarette, looking up at a clear night sky. Was trying to find Orions belt when a moving star caught my eye from the west. First initial thought was that it could be a satellite, but object was moving too fast and appeared to me to be too low and too fast. It moved from west to east and pulsated several times with no pattern to the pulsations, was totally random. Also I could see that it wavered as if under some sort of imperfect control. Within two minutes after it was out of sight to the east, another one exactly like it came from the south with the exact same characteristics as the first but this one curved to the east a few degrees as it passed overhead. Then came the fighter jets at full afterburner in formations of two, three formations crisscrossing in the area of the sighting.
