My husband, son, and i were driving home after leaving work. we were in the colonial park neighborhood less than two minutes from our home. i was just kind of looking around like i normally do since i wasn't driving. i happened to look up and saw an unusual object in the sky. normally i wouldn't have remarked on the object since there's constantly military aircraft in the air above clovis, but this looked completely different from any of the aircraft flown by the air force at cannon afb. it was oval in shape, a bright shiny silver with a red and blue strip on one end and i couldn't think of any aircraft that matched its description (i grew up in an air force family and was exposed to all sorts of aircraft over the years) and i remarked "what on earth is that?" to my husband but unfortunately, my husband rounded a curve which put a couple of leafless globe willow trees in between my line of sight and the object. by the time we had passed the two trees (which was no more than five seconds), it was gone with no trace as to where it went or what it was.
