I was taking the washing off the line and looked up as I usually do, gazing at the stars. And there is a small - tiny - orange-red light moving across the sky. It was the same size if not a bit smaller then the stars it was passing by. I recon it was way to far up for any plane to fly at. I'd seen it before - maybe not that exact one, but same characteristics - doing the exact same thing a few years back, but heading in a different direction. The one I saw tonight though, was a solid orange-red colour - it wasn't flashing or pulsing - it was just moving across the sky. I was by the side of the house so I lost sight of it when it went behind the roof, I ran to the other side to try and see it, but because we have a lot of street lamps around that side, I couldn't see it. The other side was dark with the lights blocked by the neighbours.A few seconds later, I turn and there is this other light. It was at plane-flying height, but I could've sworn it wasn't a plane. It was a bright orange and flashing, but only that one colour. Not other lights blinked or anything. It was like the other one, but closer and easier to see. It won't mean anything, but at a certain point, a shooting star passed along side the flashing light.
