on numerous occasions my fiance and i have seen a set of flashes in the night sky over the oregon coast. these flashes are extremely bright. brighter than any star or flashing lights you would see on a plane. they usually start at one side of the horizon and in seconds, with about 3-4 flashes it's to the other side of the horizon. a few times that we have noticed it the flashes have made hard zig zag patterns instead of a straight line. my attempts to film it with my cell phone have failed due to the camera not picking it up at night. happens all the time here and i'm reporting it because i'm curious if it is military and if you could tell me that others have been reporting the same thing happening here in oregon.
