There was a group of us, 5 in all that witnessed a bright orb that wasn't exactly pulsing but more changing colors rapidly with a bright white always there. it stayed stationary hovering in one spot. we looked at it thru my binoculars but couldn't capture it on our cell phones. it was too dark. i live on and am surrounded by horse properties and farms so we don't have bad light pollution. it stayed stationary, hovering for nearly 35 min and then it ascended straight up until we couldn't see it any longer. it was a very clear, moonless night and visablity was wonderful. we were stargazing, that's why we noticed it. we first saw it at about 9 pm and watched it until it left around 9:35 pm it seemed to, almost so quickly you couldn't follow it, move left and right, but not far, just quick, jerky movements along the same plain.
