My wife and i were walking our dog and i looked up to see a flying shiny object above the very high thin cloud cover. i took out my camera and zoomed in to take the first photo. i almost dismissed it as a runaway child's metallic balloon until i noticed it make a sharp almost 90 degree turn. the object was moving very fast and was higher then any balloon i've ever seen. also, it was above high thin clouds, a metallic balloon would be too small to see from the ground. the first photo shows what appears to be an engine flame of some kind, although that is speculation. i used the maximum digital zoom to take the second photo- which appears to be a more traditional flying saucer shape with a dome top. it appeared to have a strip of red lights running horizontally around the entire object. please note, the dark out of focus areas are dirt trapped in the lens. shortly after the second photo, the ufo disappeared over the horizon. there is no way it could have been a drone or weather balloon, the object was moving way too fast to be anything of known engineering capabilities.
