Multiple extremely bright white lights appeared from the east as myself and workmate watched four and then six and then as many as 15 moved vertically and horizontally across the sky. one appeared to be on the ground at highway 50. movements were rapid and covering vast areas of the sky. one of the movements were other than horizontal or vertical.It seemed they were positioning themselves in a lattice(ie 0nce a certain position was found, the individual lights remained stationary). once all 15 were positioned, they began to go off just like you would turn a light off. then we noticed, now there only 8, now 6,now 4, now 2, none.
