I was changing for a christmas work party, december 1, 2017 approximately 5:45 pm, in mississauga on while facing my window. i am a star gazer regularly so watching out of my window at night is a regular thing. i saw a very bright red light to the west, it took a few seconds to register it was not moving, it did not waiver at all! i stared at it trying to see what could be sitting there without this red light moving in any way. 15 seconds passed at least, then the light turned white and moved swiftly and directly south stopped, light turned red and turned directly north, stopped, it turned again south at high speed and disappeared out of my window view. i sat thinking what it could possibly be, thought of a drone, but realized it would have to be closer. this was higher than planes fly around here to and from the toronto airport. as i sat wondering, it had to be 20 sec or more, and it flew at the same speed it flew all along directly north past and out of my window view. i texted my ex-husband who is a pilot and had mentioned to me about 5 years ago he saw something when he and another pilot were flying and was told to say nothing. i asked how fast a drone could fly as he has one, but i know it was no drone. as a very regular star gazer, there is always a first for everything!
